Mount Pleasant police release new photos of homicide suspect, seek public's help

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) — Mount Pleasant police have released new, higher-quality photos of a suspect wanted in connection with a June homicide in hopes of generating new leads.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department said detectives continue to investigate the homicide that occurred June 24 in the 2200 block of Racine Street.
Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for 17-year-old Ronald R. Franklin of Racine in connection with the killing.
Police are asking anyone with information about Franklin's whereabouts to contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 262-884-0454. Authorities warn the public not to approach Franklin. Anyone who sees him is urged to contact law enforcement immediately.

MOUNT PLEASANT, Wis. (CBS 58) — Authorities have identified a suspect and issued an arrest warrant in connection with a homicide that occurred in Mount Pleasant last month.
According to the Mount Pleasant Police Department, investigators are searching for 17-year-old Ronald R. Franklin of Racine in connection with the June 24 homicide in the 2200 block of Racine Street.

Franklin is described as a Black male standing approximately 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing about 140 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
He is wanted on charges of:
- Attempted armed robbery
- Felony murder
Investigators believe Franklin is still in southeastern Wisconsin and are actively working to locate him.
Anyone with information about Franklin's whereabouts is asked to contact the Mount Pleasant Police Department at 262-884-0454. Authorities warn the public not to approach Franklin and instead contact law enforcement immediately.
