Fluorescent fun in Milwaukee: ArtBlaze on the Beach taking place at Bradford and South Shore

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- To learn more about Joy Engine's Great Cosmopods that are a part of ArtBlaze on the Beach, we were joined by Steph Salvia, Joy Engine's Executive Director, on Wednesday, Aug. 7.
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Fluorescent tentacles that measure over 30-feet tall will light up Milwaukee’s lakefront during ArtBlaze on the Beach, a series of free events starting Wednesday, July 10.
The events will be held on four Wednesdays in July and August at Bradford Beach and South Shore Beach, showcasing live music, entertainment, food vendors, tie-dying activities and more. Plus, FuzzPop Workshop's 30-foot handmade tentacles will be on display.
Family-friendly activities begin at 3:30 p.m., leading into evening dance parties. The following performers are scheduled:
- July 10: Trapper Schoepp, Roxie Beane, Wave Chapelle, live DJ sets by DJ D-On, DJ Shortstyle and DJ E Rich;
- July 31: Lil Rev, MKE Yoga Social, Tigera Band, "How to Salsa" with Karlies Kelly, De La Buena;
- Aug. 7: "The Kid Boogie Down" with DJ Lukewarm, Hale o Malo, Urban Empress;
- Aug. 21: Girls Rock Showcase, MKE Yoga Social, DJ Kenny Perez, Gego y Nony, The Sparkle and Burn Fire Show, DJ Shawna.
