Ascension Wisconsin pledges $1 million to Racine Community Health Center

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) – Ascension Wisconsin is pledging $1 million to the Racine Community Health Center.

The $1 million pledge will be paid in increments of $200,000 over five years.

The Racine Community Health Center is scheduled to open this summer at Julian Thomas Community School. It will provide services to the community, with a special focus on those who are vulnerable and living in poverty.

The City of Racine, Racine County and Gateway Technical College have also contributed $50,000 each to the health center.
