Suspect who evaded police at Lake Geneva Home Depot captured

VILLAGE OF GENOA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Genoa City Police have arrested a man after he evaded officers Monday.
Police say Modesto Esparza ran after police served a search warrant at his home. He got away from police a second time at the Lake Geneva Home Depot.
Police confirmed he was taken into custody on Tuesday but did not release details about where he was found.

VILLAGE OF GENOA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Genoa City Police say Modesto Esparza was last seen at the Lake Geneva Mobil.
Authorities believe he may still be in the Lake Geneva and Pell Lake area.

VILLAGE OF GENOA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Genoa City Police Department along with multiple other agencies performed a search warrant in the Village of Genoa on Monday.
Multiple people inside of a home were taken into custody for possession of class 1 narcotics and felony bail jumping.
Upon performing the search warrant, officers learned that their primary suspect was not inside the home.
On Monday evening, officers learned that the suspect at large returned to the home and evaded police in the parking lot of the Lake Geneva Home Depot.
Officers have identified the suspect as Modesto Esparza.
He is described as a 41-year-old hispanic male. He is approximately 6', weighs 280 pounds, and has brown eyes, and brown hair.
He's been known to be armed in the past.
Anyone with information on Esparza's whereabouts is asked to call police.
Police ask that you do not approach the suspect.
