Family of Officer Corder feels support at fundraiser
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Funeral arrangements have been made for fallen Milwaukee Police Officer Kendall Corder.
Officer Corder died Sunday, June 29, after he was shot in the line of duty Thursday near 25th and Garfield.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, visitation will be held Friday, July 11, from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m. at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield.
At 2:30, the funeral service will begin, with a processional to follow.
Officer Corder will be laid to rest at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield.
A fundraiser has been created to help Officer Corder's family and colleagues travel to Washington, D.C. during National Police Week, when his name will be etched into the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Wall. To contribute, click here.
