Family dog found dead, babysitter arrested for animal cruelty

SUSSEX, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Waukesha County Sheriff's Office says on Friday Jan. 26, around 1:35 p.m., the Waukesha County Communications Center received a call from someone saying their family dog was found dead in their home on Elm Ave in the Village of Sussex.

The dog was found with a possible stab wound and a plastic bag on its head.

An 18-year-old woman, a babysitter, was talked to about the incident. She was arrested for cruelty to animals.
