SHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fire crews responded to a barn fire that was deemed a complete loss in Sheboygan County on Thursday, Dec. 5. 

It happened near CTH A and Willow Rd in the town of Rhine around 6:38 p.m. 

The Elkhart Lake Fire Department says upon arrival, an initial assessment shows the barn to be fully engulfed in flames and was starting to collapse. Crews operated until around 9 p.m., when all visible fire was extinguished. The fire department says the fire was contained to the barn and did not extend to the adjacent building that housed animals.

The cause of the fire remains undetermined.
