Beaver Dam man found guilty of violently shaking 8-month-old girl

BEAVER DAM, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A Beaver Dam man has been found guilty of physical abuse of a child and recklessly causing great bodily harm.
Raymond Keyser, 24, of Beaver Dam allegedly caused grave injuries to the 8-month-old girl's brain, eyes, and neck. The injuries were consistent with being violently shaken.
According to a release from the Dodge County District Attorney's Office, Keyser said the child have fallen off a two-foot-high bed onto a carpeted floor.
Medical experts, however, determined that the child had been violently shook or repeatedly slammed against a surface.
The child suffered permanent brain damage and disability.
Keyser faces up to 15 years in prison and $50,000 in fines.
His sentencing is schedule for February 14, 2019.
