Benefit account established for victims of medical helicopter crash

WOODRUFF, Wis. (WSAW) -- Howard Young Foundation has established a memorial account to benefit the families of three people killed Thursday night as result of a medical helicopter crash in Hazelhurst. A spokeman said $22,000 has been raised.

The victims, including the pilot, are identified as 43-year-old Gregory Rosenthal of Mosinee; 34-year-old Rico Caruso of Hazelhurst; and 30-year-old Klint Mitchell of Watersmeet, Mich.

Money raised will be split between the victim's families.

Howard Young is accepting donations through its website for the “Helping Hands for Spirit Helicopter Families”.
