Body found in wooded area in Fond du Lac identified, death investigation continues

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Fond du Lac police have identified the deceased person found on May 23 to be Tristan L. Phillips, born on December 9, 1981.

The investigation into what lead up to his death continues.

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities are investigating a "suspicious death" in the city of Fond du Lac Tuesday, May 23.

Police responded to the area of Scott and Seymour Street just before 1 p.m. after a person doing yard work reported a deceased person in a wooded area behind a residence.

The medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy as early as Wednesday to determine the cause and manner of death.
