MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- On Giving Tuesday, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee was gifted a $5,000 donation in the forms of toys and snacks.
Holiday helpers from US Cellular unloaded a box truck full of 350 toys for the boys and girls and stocked the club pantry with healthy snacks.
The Boys & Girls Club seeks donations around the holidays so every child can have something to open Christmas morning.
Many of the donated toys are educational as well.
"What we like to do at Boys & Girls Club is have disguised learning," said Toya Griffin, senior director of academics with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee. "Learning that's fun, yet they still get something educational out of it."
US Cellular is donating supplies to over 150 organizations this holiday season.
