Bradford Beach Named Among Best Urban Beaches in the Country

Bradford Beach was named one of the top 10 urban beaches in the country, according to USA Today’s Reader’s Choice Awards. 

USA Today released a poll after receiving nomination. Bradford Beach was named third in the list. 

"I’m a little shocked because you see all of these pictures of all of these beaches in California that are packed,” Chase Wade, who’s from Cedarburg, Wisconsin. “But it’s good for Milwaukee, it’s good for the city.” 

Paul Murray was at Bradford Beach with a group of friends he said he met there. 

"People give the lake a bad rap but the lake is beautiful, being out there paddle boarding, and the boat, everything like that is great and it's one of the best beaches I've ever been too, even in more warmer climates," Murray said.
