Brady St. Qdoba suspended due to razor blade found in food

Milwaukee Health Department

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Qdoba on the east side has been suspended for 10 days by the Milwaukee Common Council on Tuesday, June 11, due to a razor blade found in food in November.

According to the City of Milwaukee Health Department, a complaint stated that a customer found a razor blade in his mouth while eating a burrito from the Qdoba on Brady St on Nov. 1, 2023.  The customer did not cut his mouth or swallow the blade.

The health department says they met with the customer and the customer gave them the blade he had found. When the health department returned to the restaurant, they asked the manager to open the bag cutter tool. The health department says the blade inside the tool was an exact match with the one provided by the customer.

The health department said that the Qdoba's in the region have discontinued using the bag cutting tools and recommends Roaring Fork and all other Qdoba Corporate and Franchise locations to discontinue the use of the tool as well.
