Brewers' Eric Lauer is 7th player to test positive, join COVID-19 injured list
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Brewers left-hander Eric Lauer has tested for COVID-19 and is going on the injured list, according to the team.
Lauer will be the seventh Brewers player on the COVID injured list. Other players listed on the list includes Christian Yelich, Josh Hader, Jake Cousins, Hunter Strickland, Keston Hiura, and Jandel Gustave, who is a close contact.
Brewers Manager Craig Counsell said earlier this week Yelich will undergo testing on Wednesday and could be free from the injured list by Thursday, which is ten days after he was placed on the injured list.
