Tracking October warmth and Brewers forecasts near and far
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We've heard a lot about what Bob Uecker still means to the Milwaukee Brewers players, and we saw how fans celebrated with the Uecker statue in front of American Family Field. But there are quieter championship moments happening with Mr. Baseball. Just a short walk from the ballpark is the Wood National Cemetery -- the final resting site of Uecker. CBS 58's Mike Curkov was there the morning after the Crew won the World Series and found one man who came to Uecker's gravesite for a visit after the historic Brewers' win.
