Brewers fever spreading throughout Southeast Wisconsin

BROOKFIELD, Wis (CBS 58) — Southeast Wisconsin resident Trevor Duran has spent his down time in the last three days spreading Brewers fever across the area.

Duran works for a batting glove company, but recently he’s become a part-time artist.

Earlier in the Brewers' postseason run, Duran painted a Brewers logo onto his yard.

The design was posted to Facebook, where dozens of people have seen it and asked Duran to paint the logo on their yards too.

“I wanted to do my lawn and make my lawn look cool, so that way when my neighbors drive by it, it kind of inspired them to get excited about the Brewers," Duran said. "And I’m more than happy to share that with everyone else."

On Tuesday night, Duran was at the Rebholz family’s house in Brookfield, his sixth house in the last couple days.

“I think it’s been just like spreading the Brewers fever,” Duran said.

Megan Rebholz and her family are diehard Brewers fans and are going the extra mile to get ready for the World Series.

“It’s like nothing I’ve ever seen before and it’s really been fun to be a part of it,” Rebholz said.

The family has their own homemade Famous Racing Sausage costumes, Brewers lights, and now a Brewers logo in their front lawn.

“We’re all headed to Tampa, so we’re gonna rent -- we’re hoping to rent a big van and we’re just gonna hit the road Saturday morning,” Rebholz said.
