MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The National Play Campaign made a stop at American Family Field on Friday, July 12.
The goal of the program is to get kids outside and promote a healthy lifestyle.
Kids were joined by Brewers coaches and players in hitting drills, catching drills, and even potato sack races!
"The most important thing of the day is having fun at the park, I mean kids here today get the opportunity to step on the grass at American Family Field like their idols, very unique opportunity presented by the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainer Society. Scott Berenger and his staff with the Brewers, and we're looking forward to having some players out here later today as well," said Sam Radbil with the Professional Baseball Athletic Trainer Society.
For the past decade, the Play Campaign has furthered its emphasis on disability inclusion.
Back in 2014, the program became the first in professional sports to include children with disabilities.
