MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — History has arrived in Milwaukee.

The Brewers are headed back to the World Series for the first time since 1982 after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League Championship Series and capturing the National League pennant.

Milwaukee finished with the best record in baseball and will have home-field advantage in the World Series.

Games 1 and 2 will be played at American Family Field on Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday, Oct. 24. Games 6 and 7, if necessary, would also be played in Milwaukee.

As fans celebrate the franchise's return to baseball's biggest stage, the Brewers Team Stores at American Family Field are now open with exclusive World Series merchandise.

The collection includes locker room caps and T-shirts worn by players during the team's pennant celebration, on-field hoodies and novelty items such as koozies, pennants and pins.

Additional merchandise is expected to arrive daily.

The Brewers Team Stores are located at the left-field gate and home plate gate entrances at American Family Field.

Following the NLCS clincher, store hours have been expanded to 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
