Brewers outfielder Jackson Chourio placed on injured list, will miss Opening Day game

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have announced that outfielder Jackson Chourio suffered a left-hand fracture, and that they have placed him on the 10-day injured list.

CBS 58's Lance Allen reports that the injury took place in a March 4 matchup between Venezuela and the Washington Nationals.

He will miss the team's Thursday, March 26 opener against the Chicago White Sox. The team's early estimate for his return is 2 - 4 weeks.

Outfielder Blake Perkins has been recalled from the Triple A Nashville Sounds in his place.
