MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers are preparing for the 2025 season with a full slate of promotional giveaways, community celebrations and theme nights. Marti Wronski, the team’s chief operating officer, joined us on Wednesday, March 5 to offer a preview.
The team's home opener is scheduled for Thursday, April 3 against the Cincinnati Reds. A special ticket package includes a Jackson Chourio T-shirt, available to the first 5,000 fans with a Terrace Level ticket purchase.
Pregame entertainment will feature performances by Ronald Reagan High School and South Division High School drumlines and the Milwaukee Dancing Grannies. DJs will be stationed near the pedestrian bridge and clock tower, and The 5 Card Studs will perform at the Miller Lite Landing. Milwaukee-based singer Allison Mahal will sing the national anthem alongside Valkyrie, a bald eagle from the Schlitz Audubon Nature Center.
The Brewers will also honor longtime broadcaster Bob Uecker with uniform patches featuring his signature. A public Celebration of Life event is planned for August.
