Bring your wedding planning to life this weekend at the State Fair Expo Center
WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Wonderful World of Weddings has been bringing wedding planning to life for Wisconsinites for the last 58 years. Whether you're looking to customize you wedding to tell your love story or you want to see the latest trends in wedding design, you can see and talk to vendors in person.
"You're talking to somebody face-to-face, so you want to get as much information as you can in one day," said Gesica Zelechowski, one vendor at the Wonderful World of Weddings this weekend. "You know, you might talk to three different DJs and decide one was really the right fit for you."
Some trends in 2026 weddings include a shift from rustic to elegant, bold color choices and splurging more on the honeymoon than the big day itself.
"We are seeing trends going to Hawaii, Tahiti, Thailand, Italy," said Zelechowski. "These are the hot numbers in our office."
