MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Tim McCormick of the Wisconsin State Fair joined us on Tuesday, Aug. 5 to preview the week ahead of fun at the fair.
Tuesday features Milwaukee Bucks Kids Day in Central Park from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with visits from mascots Bango and Pointer, plus live performances and giveaways. Entertainers will also bring the fair to Children’s Wisconsin, taking fun, Cream Puffs and more to visit the folks who cannot visit the fair itself.
Wednesday is Meijer Day, offering $5 admission discounts with a receipt from a $40 or more purchase from July 31 through Aug. 6. Activities include giveaways and a food truck, plus the Governor’s Blue Ribbon Livestock Auction at 6:30 p.m. and live judging for Grand Champion Eats & Treats.
Thursday marks Prairie Farms Dairy Day, with free admission for educators between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. The day also includes horse shows, agriculture demonstrations and performances by Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias and Hairbangers Ball.
