MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- One Milwaukee Bucks player is doing his part to spread some holiday cheer this year.
On Thursday, Nov. 6, Bucks guard Cole Anthony took 11 students and their mentors to Kohl's for a shopping spree.
All students and mentors are from the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
They were looking for professional clothes as they prepare for round one of the Boys & Girls Clubs Youth of the Year competition.
"You know, for me, this is something that's super dope, connect with these kids, give them a good memory," Anthony said. "I try to tap in with the youth, just because they're the future."
"It gives them hope and it gives them promise," said Andre Douglas, Youth of the Year program assistant vice president. "People are here to cheer you on and people are here to make sure you're successful."
This marks the fifth year of this shopping partnership.
Last year, Bucks guard Delon Wright helped with the shopping.
