Bucks hold open auditions for Grand Dancers

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Bucks held open auditions Tuesday, Aug. 9, for their world famous dance team, the Grand Dancers.

The group proves you're never too old to get your groove on.

Dancers ages 55 and older auditioned for a spot at Gather near Fiserv Forum. They were met with fun choreography and music, showcasing their moves.

Members of the Bucks organization say no special skills are needed to be on the team, just a big personality.

"There's this image of what a dancer is supposed to be, right. It's very athletic, male and female, doing these crazy things, but there's also entertainment aspect to those who can't necessarily do that but their personality shines when they are performing, and that's honestly what our fans love to see out there," said Nastassja Duvinsky, live programming and entertainment specialist for the Bucks.

Grand Dancers must re-audition every year to earn their spot on the hardwood.
