MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- For the second time this month, the Bucks and Fiserv Forum are helping make sure small businesses can make it through the pandemic.
The team held a "Back 2 Business" forum Thursday, March 24.
The keynote speaker for the event was Hall of Fame basketball player Nancy Lieberman.
As part of the program, representatives from minority women-owned small businesses in the Milwaukee area received $10,000 grants.
"This is really gonna help a lot, so that's our biggest expense, is paying writers to produce content, so this will be put toward my writers and marketing and branding so more people can know about us," said Nyesha Stone, owner of Carvd N Stone.
Fiserv and the Bucks held a similar event back on March 1.
