Bucks' season ends with crushing Game 5 loss to Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (CBS 58) -- The shorthanded Milwaukee Bucks once again head home early in the postseason.

Playing without Damian Lillard, the Bucks fell to the Indiana Pacers 119-118 in overtime in Game 5.

Tyrese Haliburton scored the game-winning layup with 1.3 seconds left in overtime.

Giannis Antetokounmpo finished with 30 points, 20 rebounds, and 13 assists. Gary Trent Jr. put together another masterful performance with 33 points on 8 made triples playing almost 50 minutes.

This is the third straight year the Bucks' season ends in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. It's the second year in a row it ends in Indianapolis, after losing to the Pacers 4-2 in 2023-24.

The Bucks lost in five games to the Miami Heat in 2022-23 season.
