MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- It's a busy day for Bunzel's Meat Market. People are filling up on luxurious foods like steak and lobster as well as some of the foods thought to bring good luck in the new year.
Two Wisconsin traditions are pickled herring and cannibal sandwiches, featuring raw ground sirloin.
"A lot of people use rye bread, a little bit of fresh onion, salt and pepper and go to town on that," said Chip Bunzel. "A lot of people say it's good luck and a lot of it is just family traditions."
They're both snacks you'll find on tables at Christmas and New Year.
