MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – Milwaukee Police say a car chase led to crash leaving one person hurt early Thursday morning.
Authorities say they were called to the area near N. 62nd St. and W. Carmen Ave. around 1 a.m. for reports of shots fired.
When police arrived, they found a suspicious car and tried to stop it but the driver took off. The driver then crashed into a light pole before coming to a stop on the curb near 38th St. and Capitol Drive.
One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The other is expected to be okay. Both people remain in custody.
Police continue to investigate.
