Cudahy police: Elderly man crashes car into Vilter Manufacturing

CUDAHY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A car crashed into Vilter Manufacturing LLC Exporter in Cudahy on Tuesday, April 6.

It happened around 10:30 a.m. near Packard and Birchwood. 

Cudahy police say upon arrival, the vehicle was found to have impacted the business and came to a stop inside of an unoccupied conference room.

There were no reported injuries to employees inside the business.

Police say the elderly male driver remained with his car until first responders could assist him from the car and structure.

According to a news release, officers found no signs of impairment and believe the crash was a result of driver error. The driver was taken to a hospital for medical evaluation.
