WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- A 30-year-old St. Francis woman is charged with endangering safety after she was spotted driving the wrong way on I-94.
It happened around 3:15 a.m. on Saturday, October 13.
Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies were called after West Allis Police stopped the car at the Highway 100 off-ramp. The driver, 30-year-old Erin McHardie, was seen driving east in the westbound lanes, passing several oncoming vehicles.
Once stopped, deputies say they administered standardized field sobriety tests after noticing the driver's slurred speech and the strong odor of alcohol. McHardie tested a .19 on the PBT.
McHardy was also cited for first offense OWI.
