WISCONSIN (CBS 58) --Throughout Milwaukee and Southeast Wisconsin, high school football action was heating up again Friday night in week 3 of the regular season. Here’s a look at some of our Friday Night Rivals featured matchups on CBS 58.

Muskego 36, Brookfield East 12

Muskego improves to 3-0 on the season with a 36-12 win over Brookfield East. The Spartans put up 12 points in the first quarter but wouldn't see the end zone again after that. Muskego running back Alex Current carried the ball 12 times for 148 yards and three touchdowns in the win. Muskego will put their perfect record on the line next week when they face the undefeated Catholic Memorial while Brookfield East gets Hamilton.

Riverside 48, Washington 6

Riverside’s point scoring spree continued at South Stadium Friday night. The Tigers (2-1) defeated Washington 48-6, one week after putting up 61 points against Bay View. Riverside is just four points away from being undefeated through three weeks, as their opening game was a three point loss to Pewaukee.

Morse-Marshall 46, Hamilton 6

Amarion Allen rushed for 107 yards to lead Morse-Marshall to an MPS win Friday afternoon at South Stadium. The Eagles (2-1) scored 20 points in the 2nd quarter and followed up with 19 in the 3rd to cement the win. Morse-Marshall has outscored their opponents 94-6 over the last two weeks.

Homestead 43, Grafton 13

The Highlanders kept their undefeated season alive with an impressive win over geographic rival Grafton Friday night. Homestead had a 43-0 lead at the half. They’ve scored at least 38 points in every game so far this season.

Franklin 45, Racine Park 0

The Franklin Sabres (3-0) shut out an opponent for the second time in three weeks. Franklin scored all of the game’s points in the first half, thanks to three touchdowns in each of the game’s first two quarters. Lucas Nelson scored twice on the ground, part of a rushing attack that produced 173 yards and four scores.
