'Let's groove tonight': Earth, Wind & Fire to perform in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A funky Grammy-winning group will bring their iconic sound to Milwaukee this summer, performing at the Miller High Life Theatre.

Earth, Wind & Fire, one of the best-selling artists of all time, will take the stage on Saturday, Aug. 9 at 8 p.m.

Formed in 1969 by Maurice White, the group has sold more than 100 million albums worldwide and earned nine Grammy Awards, including a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012. They are known for hits like "September," "Let’s Groove" and "Reasons."

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and received Kennedy Center Honors in 2019.
