CBS 58 visits Frank’s Diner one last time before it changes ownership

CBS 58

KENOSHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Don’t worry, breakfast fans. A legendary Kenosha spot, Frank’s Diner, may be changing ownership, but that’s about the only thing changing. Kevin and Julie Ervin are selling the diner to long-time employee, Pablo Escribano and his wife, Diana.

Kevin and Julie Ervin say seeing Escribano’s love for the diner reminded them of why they bought it nearly 16 years ago. That’s how they knew he was perfect to take over the business.

Escribano will officially take over Friday, July 31.

CBS 58’s Amanda Becker stopped by the diner for one last garbage plate before they change hands.
