MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- There is a variety of fun planned for Father's Day weekend in Milwaukee. To get a preview, Joe Krauss from B93.3 joined us on Friday, June 16.
On the roster is the Lakefront Festival of Art at the Milwaukee Art Museum from Friday, June 16, to Sunday, June 18. Attendees can expect a variety of artistic mediums, local cuisine and interactive activities. All K-12 teachers can enjoy free admission.
Also featured is HartFest Wauwatosa, a two-day event at Hart Park on June 16 and 17. The festival introduces a BBQ competition accompanied by blues music, food trucks, a car show and distance running events. Admission to this event is also free.
On Saturday, June 17, the Wisconsin Humane Society Pet Walk returns to Veterans Park. This pet-friendly fundraiser includes a park walk, canine games, a dog costume contest and more. More information and registration are available at PetWalkMKE.com.
