New depression treatment gives Milwaukee woman new hope
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee will host some fun events this weekend, so Joe Krauss from B93.3 joined us on Friday, Sept. 13 to preview some of the highlights.
Near West Fest will take place Friday, Sept. 13 from 4 to 9 p.m. at Davidson Park on W. Juneau. The event will feature live music, food trucks, a maker’s market and a screening of the 2023 film The Little Mermaid. Admission is free.
Taco Fest is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 14 at Henry Maier Festival Park. The event will offer a selection of Milwaukee’s best tacos, with attendees voting for their favorite. Admission is $25, which includes four taco tickets.
For families, Touch a Truck will be held at Armory Park in Sussex on Saturday, Sept. 14 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The free event allows children and adults to explore a variety of trucks.
Saturday evening, UWM Planetarium will host Observe the Moon Night from 7 to 9 p.m. Attendees can view the Moon through telescopes and enjoy a planetarium show. General admission is $6.
China Lights at Boerner Botanical Gardens will celebrate its opening weekend, featuring more than 40 light displays. The event runs daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Oct. 27.
