MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- As fall season sets in, Joe Krauss of B93.3 FM joined us on Friday to spotlight upcoming weekend events in the Milwaukee area.
Krauss featured the Milky Way Drive-In Fright Nights in Franklin, offering kid-friendly movies this weekend such as "Hocus Pocus" on Sept. 29 at 6:30 p.m., "Hotel Transylvania: Transformania" on Sept. 30 at 5 p.m. and "The Nightmare Before Christmas" on Oct. 1 at 5 p.m. Admission is $35 per vehicle and food and beverages are available for walk-up and delivery.
On Saturday and Sunday, Wisconsin State Fair Park hosts its 30th annual Harvest Fair, offering free admission and live entertainment across multiple stages, along with attractions like Pumpkin Bowling and Make-Your-Own Scarecrow.
On Sunday, from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wehr Nature Center in Franklin holds Cider Sunday, a family-friendly event featuring live music, children's crafts, and apple treats.
Looking ahead to Oct. 7, the 4th annual Curd Fest in the Deer District invites competitors to eat a pound of cheese curds as quickly as possible.
