Tosa Greek Fest prepares for 57th annual event this weekend
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee has a stacked calendar of events this weekend, and to get a preview of what's ahead, Joe Krauss from B93.3 joined us on Friday, May 24.
Field of Flags at Veterans Park starts Friday at 11 a.m. Admission is free. A display of 27,316 flags will honor Wisconsin’s fallen from the Civil War to present. The display runs through Thursday, May 30.
Falls Memorial Fest in Menomonee Falls begins Saturday, May 25 and continues through Monday, May 27. Highlights include a 5K run, car show and Memorial Day Parade on Monday at 10 a.m. on Main Street. Admission is free.
The Family Kite Festival at Veterans Park on Saturday and Sunday features a Grand Launch at noon each day. Free kites will be given to the first 100 kids participating in the Kids Mad Dash.
Dan Jansen Family Fest at Konkel Park runs through Sunday with live music and rides. Admission is free. Rides will be open on Monday, though the festival activities end Sunday.
