BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- This week's hometown athlete is a hometown kid getting to play for his hometown team.
Brookfield native Andrew Rohde joins the Badgers this season after being at Virginia and St. Thomas.
Rohde played his last high school game at the Kohl Center. Now, his college career continues there.
As he told us at a recent Brewers game, he's grateful for the chance.
"Yeah, it's a blessing. Something I've dreamed about since I was a little kid. Just being able to go out and do it, especially with this group of guys we got coming, I think we're going to be a good team," Rohde said. "The culture is one of the things I wanted to be a part of, the way they play."
