Celebrate culture with food during Asian Restaurant Week in Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Asian Restaurant Week is taking place in Milwaukee, offering an opportunity to celebrate local businesses. The week takes place during Asian-American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.

Taking place through Saturday, May 25, the effort is being led by ElevAsian.

The goal is to encourage Milwaukeeans to sample a variety of food of Asian origin, be it tasting new favorites or discovering a great new local hotspot.

Restaurants that have been selected by ElevAsian as favorites for Asian Restaurant Week serve food and beverages with ethnic origins such as Chinese, Hawaiian, Hmong, Lao, Thai, Indian, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and more.
