Check your tickets! A $2 million winning Powerball ticket was sold in Bristol

BRISTOL, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Someone is holding on to a $2 million winning Powerball ticket sold in Bristol.

The winning ticket was purchased at the BP gas station located at 20015 93rd Street in Bristol. The ticket won the Wednesday, Aug. 28 drawing matching five of five numbers (5-33-47-50-64) but not the Powerball (20). The ticket included the $1 Power Play option turning a $1 million prize into $2 million because of the 2X Power Play multiplier.

The $2 million ticket is the largest prize the BP gas station has ever sold.

The Wisconsin Lotter says, Wisconsin and Georgia were the only two locations in the United States selling winning Powerball tickets of $1 or more for the Aug. 28 drawing.

Players have 180 days from the draw dates to claim their winnings. Information on how to claim a prize is available on wilottery.com. Players can also check to see if their ticket is a winner by using the Lottery's mobile app, available on the App Store or Google Play.

Congratulations to the lucky winner!
