MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- In a joint statement Thursday, Milwaukee's Common Council members announced a new webpage launched in light of recent ICE activity across the country. 

The webpage includes things like resources, preparedness toolkits, and legal support options, according to the council members, in one central hub.

"The fear is not unfounded, and we want residents to know that we stand with them during these uncertain times and will do what we can to provide timely information and make sure they are supported," the statement said, in part.

"Now more than ever, we must maintain a sense of unity and put our full weight behind those who are being deprived of basic rights."
