Meet CBS 58’s Pet of the Week: Gravy
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Historic Milwaukee has people experiencing the city from a new point of view. In honor of the organization's 50th anniversary and a fundraiser for Doors Open Milwaukee, the organization invited people to rappel off the iconic Milwaukee Athletic Club. More than 30 people rappelled off the 13-story building. One of those people being Mayor Cavalier Johnson
"It was absolutely incredible. I would do it again...it was really really fun," said Mayor Johnson.
Mayor Johnson went on to say it's important to support Historic Milwaukee.
"They do so many great things in our community, including what we know them best for, which is Doors Open Milwaukee working to make sure people all over the community and beyond get the chance to come here and experience Milwaukee in ways they haven’t ordinarily done," Mayor Jonhson explained.
Doors Open Milwaukee is next weekend, Sept. 28 and 29th.
