Community leaders rappel down Milwaukee Athletic Club in support of Historic Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A handful of community leaders are going over the edge to support Historic Milwaukee Friday. 

People are rappelling down the Milwaukee Athletic Club to celebrate Historic Milwaukee's 50th anniversary. 

Some of the people rappelling down the historic 13-story building in downtown Milwaukee are Fire Chief Aaron Lipski and Bango the Buck. 

What better way to show their appreciation for history and architecture than by rappelling from this iconic 1917 building. 

The main fundraising rappel event is this Sunday, Sept. 22, with participants raising money for Historic Milwaukee.
