Contractor robbed working on equipment at Hefner's Custard in Cedarburg

CEDARBURG, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Early Tuesday, Oct. 1, a man working inside Hefner's Custard in Cedarburg was robbed at gunpoint. 

According to Cedarburg police, it happened around 5:20 a.m., the business was not open to customers at the time. 

The victim of the robbery was a 50-year-old maintenance contractor servicing the food equipment at the business. 

Police say the victim was not physically injured but was robbed of cash. 

Authorities describe the suspect as a Black male, last seen wearing all black clothing, and a black-and-white patterned face mask. 

The suspect aimed a firearm at the victim, according to police. 

Anyone who may live in the area is asked to check surveillance camera footage and contact Cedarburg police if they have any information relating to the robbery.
