MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee man was nearly killed sitting in front of his own home, and if you know anything about it, Milwaukee Crime Stoppers needs you to step up.
It was 11 in the morning on Oct. 9, when a man was sitting in his car on S. 12th Street and W. Arthur.
A man with a gun came up to the window and demanded money, but the victim couldn't understand him because he doesn't speak English.
Out of frustration, the suspect shot him, twice.
"When he couldn't comply because he didn't understand what was being asked, the suspect brazenly pulled out a gun and fired two rounds, striking him twice," said MPD Captain Craig Sarnow. "It's a case that's played out far too often in our city this year."
If you know anything about this shooting, call Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at 414-224-TIPS. You can also use the P3 Tips App.
Your call is always anonymous, and if your tip leads to an arrest, you could get a cash reward.
