FRANKLIN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The United States may be out of the World Cup competition, but local soccer fans are still gathering to root for their other favorites.
On Monday, Croatia and Japan met in the knockout round in Qatar, and there was a watch party at the Croatian Eagles Soccer Club in Franklin.
"We're this little country, you know a lot of people don't expect a lot from us," said Anita Osvatic, local Croatia soccer fan. "I don't even know where we were ranked initially, but Croatia keeps coming up on top."
The match came down to a shootout and Croatia wound up winning.
In the last World Cup four years ago, Team Croatia made it all the way to the championship match before losing to France.
