MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Culver's is getting into the postseason spirit with a limited-time frozen custard flavor inspired by Milwaukee's hometown baseball team.

The company is introducing "Brew Crew Cheesecake," a special flavor created for Brewers fans during the team's playoff run.

The dessert features vanilla frozen custard blended with cheesecake and blueberries, a nod to the Brewers' blue-and-gold colors.

The limited-time flavor will be available at participating Culver's restaurants in the Milwaukee area on Brewers home game days during the current postseason series.

Brew Crew Cheesecake is scheduled to be available Saturday, Oct. 3, and Sunday, Oct. 4.

It could also return Friday, Oct. 9, depending on the outcome of the series.

The promotion is one of several ways local businesses are getting involved as excitement builds around Milwaukee's postseason run.
