WATERTOWN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The mild January weather in Watertown Tuesday was not the only reason to line up at the local Culver's restaurant.
Twenty-five percent of the day's sales will go to the Strohbusch family.
Cole Strohbusch was killed by a hit-and-run driver in Watertown last month. His wife and their three children are now left without their husband and father.
The loss is irreplaceable, but the community is stepping up for them.
"It's definitely been very busy, so it's been a great turnout," said owner and operator Braeden Austin. "I don't have exact numbers, but it's been very good turnout so far and we hope to have a busy dinner as well."
The Watertown Culver's location is open until 11 p.m. Tuesday night, and the Flavor of the Day is caramel pecan.
The Johnson Creek location is open until 10 p.m.
