Deadly school shooting in Washington state

MARYSVILLE -- Police are searching for a motive after a student in Washington state opened fire inside his school cafeteria. Fourteen year old Jaylen Fryberg, a freshman, killed one person and wounded several others before killing himself with Beretta 40 Caliber handgun.

.Police say the gunman didn't fit the profile for a killer. He was a homecoming prince and popular kid who also played on the Marysville High School football team.

The attack happened during one of the school's lunch periods. A nurse at a nearby hospital said several people had critical head injuries.
