MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A hike is taking place this weekend that aims to connect Milwaukee to nature.
The 8th annual HKE MKE is being hosted by the Urban Ecology Center on Sunday, Oct. 9 from noon until 4:00 p.m.
Aria Duax, Donor Relations Manager with the Urban Ecology Center and Karen Hung, President of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee joined us on Friday, Oct. 7 to discuss the event and what it aims to offer the Milwaukee community.
The main event is a 2.5-mile hike, complete with vendors, activities and fundraising challenges.
