Doki doki excitement ahead of Anime Milwaukee 2025 in March
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Anime Milwaukee 2025 will take place from Friday, March 7 to Sunday, March 9 at the Baird Center and Hilton Milwaukee City Center.
The annual convention is billed as Wisconsin’s largest anime event and features programming focused on Japanese animation, gaming and pop culture.
Organized by the Japanese Animation Association at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, the event has grown since its founding in 2007, attracting more than 17,000 attendees in 2024. This year’s convention theme, "Cottagecore," highlights nature and simplicity.
The planned fun includes cosplay workshops, a charity ball, fan-led panels and gaming rooms. The Exhibit Hall will feature vendors selling anime merchandise, fashion and artwork.
Registration will be available on-site throughout the weekend, with more information by clicking here.
